The National Repossession Helpline is a completely free advisory service that exists to give homeowners faced with repossession balanced, honest, trustworthy and personal advice. |

Are you just an advisory service? | |
Yes and no. We are a helpline. As we and our Advisers become familiar with your case we may be able to arrange for your property to be purchased if you wish or otherwise to help you out of your difficulties. |

So how do you make money? | |
We’re funded by the rental income on properties our Advisers have already bought from our clients. |

Is your advice independent? |

We don’t belong to anyone. We will always put the quality of our advice to you before any commercial consideration. |

What’s the catch? | |
There isn’t one. This is one of those circumstances in life in which you have much to lose, but also much to gain by accepting good advice. |

Will salesmen pester me? | |
No. We have no interest in working with someone who doesn’t need or want our help. There are too many people who do. |

Is there a cooling off period? | |
We are not selling you anything. If we do arrange for the purchase of your property you will sell in the conventional and normal way using your own solicitor who will be able to give you independent advice. |

Will I lose control of my money and my life? | |
No. Actually, the reverse is true. Taking steps to solve the problem that caused your arrears to build up empowers you and helps you regain control of your finances. Many people say it’s the best thing they could have done. |
